Was founded as part of Co. Longford Social Services in 1971, by the late Sr. Calasanctius, then Matron of St Joseph's Care Centre, Longford and the late Dr. Gerard McDonagh, then Medical Officer to the hospital. Today 50 years later the service has gone from strength to strength, delivering over 37,000.00 meals in2021
